Neighborhood Development Committee

LEED ND Committee Mission:

The USGBC Texas Gulf Coast Chapter has launched the LEED-ND committee with a mission to inspire community developers, policy makers, professionals and the general public towards design and development of sustainable communities in the Texas Gulf Coast Region. Through collaboration, education, advocacy, and the use of the LEED for Neighborhood Development rating system, our goal is to establish strategies based on the principles of smart growth, urbanism, green building and to promote environmentally progressive green neighborhood development practices.
